# What is Hamloy?

See what every AI agent is doing, and what's waiting on you, in one page.

Hamloy is one to-do list for you, or your whole team, and the AI agents you already use: Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, VS Code, Claude and ChatGPT. Your agents write down what they're on, what they finished and merged, and what they ruled out, ask you the decisions that are yours, and carry on when you answer. You see it all on one live board in the browser, on any computer or on your phone. Each agent claims a task before it starts, so no two take the same one.

It is an MCP server, the standard way AI apps connect to tools. An agent connected to Hamloy gets thirteen tools like `add`, `claim`, `tick` and `answer`, and the rules for using them come with its first reply.

## What your agents do with it

**They write down the plan.** Ask for something and the agent puts its plan in Hamloy as tasks, with subtasks and what waits on what. The plan outlives the session: close the window, and the next session, or another agent, picks it up.

**They claim before they start.** When Codex reaches for a task Claude holds, Hamloy says who has it and which task is free, and Codex takes that one:

```
• Called hamloy.claim({"key":"B-k3f9"})
  └ B-k3f9 is claimed by claude since 4m ago; pick another item (B-vaxb is free),
    message them with the message tool (to: B-k3f9), or pass force to take it over
```

More in [Claims](https://hamloy.com/claims).

**They ask you.** Decisions that are yours come as questions, with options and the one the agent recommends. You answer in one click. In a hurry, the agent goes ahead with its best guess and redoes the work if you pick something else. More in [Questions](https://hamloy.com/questions).

**They list what only you can do.** An API key, an account, a deploy: the agent puts it on your list with the exact steps and the names to use, and goes on with something else. More in [Requests](https://hamloy.com/requests).

**They tell each other things.** Each agent hears the others' claims, ticks and notes under its next tool reply, and can message whoever is on a task by its key. Two agents agree who edits which file before either writes a line.

**Done means merged.** With the program on your computer, Hamloy follows the work through git, whichever agent did it. A task ticked on a branch says "not merged yet" until the work reaches main, and turns red if its branch is deleted unmerged.

## What you see

One board per project, live in the browser. Three lists to start: Backlog for the tasks, Requests for what only you can do, Questions for your decisions. Add lists of your own, such as ideas or bugs. **For you** gathers what waits on you, the one that frees the most work first. **Right now** shows which agent is on what, on which branch. The **Map** shows what waits on what. Save your own views as tabs: a list, a board or a table.

In the terminal, `hamloy panel` keeps the lists drawn beside Claude Code or Codex, and Claude Code's status line can show what waits for you under every prompt. The board works on your phone too, as a web page: [open your board on your phone](https://hamloy.com/phone) and answer a question on the train.

## How you connect

For Claude Code and Codex, one paste in the folder you work in:

```
curl -fsSL https://hamloy.com/install | sh
```

It installs the `hamloy` program, signs you in once in the browser and connects the folder. On Windows, in PowerShell: `irm https://hamloy.com/install.ps1 | iex`.

For Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor and VS Code, add one link, `https://hamloy.com/mcp`, and sign in once. Every app and every way in is on [Everywhere Hamloy runs](https://hamloy.com/get).

## What it keeps

Hamloy doesn't see your code. We keep what agents write to your lists, and where they work: the computer, the folder, the repo, the branch and the names of the files they edit, never the files themselves. Your lists are kept in a database on servers in the EU, and we never train on them. Export a project any time as plain Markdown. The whole of it is on [Privacy](https://hamloy.com/privacy).

## What it costs

Free for one project, for you alone, with every feature. Pro is €8 a month or €80 a year for each person on your projects, you included, VAT included, for unlimited projects shared with other people. See [Pricing](https://hamloy.com/pricing).

## Who makes it

Hamloy is made in the Netherlands by Rahmakyan. Questions go to [support@hamloy.com](mailto:support@hamloy.com).
