# A board that keeps your place while your agents change it

A board of five thousand items opens in a third of a second, and an agent's change redraws it without losing your row, your half-made pick or your undo.

Your agents change the board all day. Every claim, tick and note redraws the page you're looking at, so the board has to stay quick when a project is months old and keep still under you while it moves. Here is how it holds up, from test runs on scratch projects.

## Five thousand items, a third of a second

A stress project had 5,452 items under twelve headings, written by eighteen agent sessions at once. Its board draws about a screenful in all: the rows you see, a few for each heading further down, and the rest as you scroll to them. That's 130 rows in about 360 ms. Scrolling down a heading loads its next hundred, and a reload brings back as many as you had open.

## Your place in a long list

On a project with 2,000 requests and questions waiting, Dana scrolled Waiting on you down to its 430th row. Sam then added a task from their assistant. The page redrew itself with all 430 rows, the same ask at the top of the screen, and the next part still loading when Dana scrolled on.

## The click you just made counts

Click a field's name in **+ field** while an agent changes that item, and your pick stays: an open form is left alone until it closes.

## A list renamed under you

Two people planned a trip on one board. One had the packing list open. The other renamed it to Boxes. The open page reloaded itself on the new name, `/boxes`, with every row in place. Renaming Food read in Recent changes as:

```
renamed Food to Food and snacks
```

## Undo says what came back

On a phone, Ines answered a question, changed their mind and pressed Undo. A note said:

```
Undone: “Which payment provider for launch?” waits for an answer again.
```

The question was back at the top of Waiting on you, and the old answer in Your changes was struck out. The change you undo can be far down the page from what it puts back, so the note says what that was.

## Click an agent, land on its work

The board's side rail lists each agent that is here, with what it's on:

```
claude
on feat-x in r8a
On Rail test: first claimed
On Rail test: second claimed
```

The name opens its first task, and each claim under it opens that task. Any line in Recent changes opens its item. The page goes to the item's list, opens the done fold if it has to, and marks the row with its panel open beside it.

## Why

The board is where you keep the overview of your agents' work. It's only that if it's quick to open, moves when they move, and still treats your clicks as yours.
