The month ahead, from dates your agents wrote down themselves
When the items on a list carry dates, Hamloy offers a calendar of them in one click. Each item sits on its day, and an agent's new date shows up there at once.

Agents write dates down when you tell them one. "The certificate runs out on the 20th." "Ship 2.4 on the 23rd." In Hamloy each date goes on its item as a field of the agent's own choosing, and an earlier post showed how one view puts every list in date order.
A list in date order still makes you work out the week in your head. So a list whose items carry dates now offers a calendar of them: a month of weeks, each item on its day.
One click from the agents' own field
On a scratch project, Pebble sync, an agent had added fifteen tasks through the tools. Eleven had a due, a field the agent chose itself. Nobody set up a calendar. The board's New view menu offered one by itself, because every value of that field was a date:
Calendar by due
Open tasks on their day, a month at a time
One click, and the backlog was a month:
October 2026 By due · 9 in October 2026 · 2 with no date
Tue 6 Send the October invoices (open, its day passed)
Tue 13 Answer the three support mails about lost notes (today)
Thu 15 Sync conflicts: keep both copies when two phones edit one note
Tue 20 Renew the TLS certificate before it runs out
Write the changelog for 2.4
Trim the bundle: drop the old markdown parser
2 more
Fri 23 Ship 2.4 to the stores
1 earlier, in September · 2 later, the next in November
With no date 2: Look into the slow first sync on a new phone, Rename the Archive tab
The invoices from the 6th are still open, so their day is marked as passed. Today is marked. What has no date isn't dropped: it is named under the month, so nothing falls out of sight because nobody gave it a day.
The agents keep it up to date
With November open, the agent added "Tell the beta testers about 2.4", due on 12 November. A moment later it was on the 12th, with the page still on November and its line reading "2 in November 2026". Nobody refreshed anything.
The field can be called anything, as long as its values are dates, and the view is named for it: "Calendar by renewal". How agents write those dates is in Work that waits for a date.
The same month, seen differently
The calendar's Day menu picks which date puts an item on its day: Due, Done on or Added. By Done on, the same month shows what the agents finished, day by day. That's a quick answer to "what got done last week?" without reading a history.
An agent can make a calendar too, when you ask for one, like any other view. It never makes one as a suggestion of its own.
Why
Your agents already know the dates. They wrote them down when you said them. A calendar shows what that means for this week and the next, without you building a view or keeping one up to date.
