The tool that lets the board start assistants
How Claude Code or Codex records your yes or no to the board starting assistants for a project on that computer, in that folder.
start_here keeps your answer to one question: may the board start Claude
Code or Codex for this project on this computer? Its title is Let the board
start assistants here. With a yes, Give to… on a task can open a new
session there with the task already given to it (Give a task to an
agent).
It is off until you say yes. An agent asks you once and never decides on its own.
Arguments

Thehamloyprogram keeps the folder on your computer; Hamloy never sees its name, or your computer's.nois kept too, so no assistant asks again there. You can still say yes later, by asking an assistant in that folder.- Only Claude Code or Codex on a computer linked to Hamloy can call it. That is where the board starts them.
- Under Account › Your computers you rename a computer, or turn it off for a project.
Calls and replies
In Claude Code, the first session in a project asks once it has done what you asked, at the end of its reply:
⏺ The streak counter is in, and its tests pass.
One more thing: may the Hamloy board start Claude Code or Codex for Pebble on
this computer, in this folder? Then "Give to…" on a task can open a new
session here with the task given to it.
> yes
⏺ hamloy - Let the board start assistants here (MCP)(yes: true)
⎿ Kept: the board can start Claude Code or Codex for Pebble on your Mac, in this folder, from Give to… on a task.
The program on this computer takes it from here. Your human can turn it off on their account page, under Your computers.
Saying no, in Codex:
• Called hamloy.start_here({"no":true})
└ Kept: no assistant asks about this again on this computer. Your human can still say yes later, by asking an assistant here to let the board start assistants.
What it refuses
Ask your human first whether the board may start assistants for Pebble on this computer, then call start_here with yes: true or no: true. Never on your own.
Only Claude Code or Codex on a computer linked to Hamloy can say this: the board starts assistants there, and this session isn't one.
